With the 2022 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship coming to a thrilling conclusion, now is the perfect time to take a look at some of the key moments from 2022. Today, we go all the way back to the start of the season and the Aragon Round, and the first of several last lap deciders in the 2022 season. Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) set the tone for this season with an incredible final lap duel in Race 1, with the fight raging through the final corner and on the run to the line. Rea came out on top in that battle with Bautista finishing less than a tenth behind and you can watch the incredible battle in the article at the top of this article.
